2002 Paul Reed Smith McCarty 10 Top Amber w/Pearly Gates and OHSC in Glen Park, New York

This guitar came from the owner's Private Reserve and is unplayed, unsold, and perfectly Mint. This is a Brand New guitar, no previous owner, no issues, no scratches or buzzes. The pickups have been replaced with Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates pickups (the original pickups are also included with the guitar) and this guitar sounds fantastic! The Paul Reed Smith McCarty is named after Ted McCarty who ran Gibson Guitars from 1948 to 1966. The McCarty model is based on his management, teachings, and techniques and was originally built to replicate the "Duane Allman at the Fillmore" sound and PRS has done an outstanding job on this one. This guitar was built March 20th in 2002 with the traditional Wide Fat neck carve, McCarty humbucking pickups and a 10 grade Figured maple carved top on a mahogany body. The guitar is wired with a push/pull tone pot to tap the coils of the Humbuckers, a master volume and master tone and a 3-way toggle switch, Indian Rosewood fingerboard, Kluson style 3-per-side tuning machines and 22 frets.
