Peavey's exclusive and patented TransTube technology really does create the sound, warmth, and "feel" of a great tube amp, utilizing solid-state amplification. The TransTube preamp section tailors the gain to meet the need for any amount of drive, from crystal clear to thick, smooth sustain.
The power amp reacts just like tubes by responding to the preamp with natural compression that increases as the amp gets louder. T-Dynamics control lets you dial the actual output of the amp, selecting any output level from full output down to 10% of full rated power. This lets you dial in a sound and maintain it at any volume level. Other features include 3-band EQ on each channel; a footswitchable effects loop so you can sconnect all your favorite stomp boxes or rack effects; built-in reverb; and more.
